Dear Colleagues,

HOST Group with support by The Government of Sverdlovsk Region, in collaboration with Territorial Fund for Compulsory Insurance (TFOMS) of Sverdlovsk Region and the Association of Medical Informatics, invites you to participate in the international conference and seminar “Medical informational system as an element of the social guarantees system. Technological solutions and development perspectives”. The conference will take place on the 30th of January in Ekaterinburg.
The topic of the conference: At present time smart-cart based informational systems are applied to health care industry, social sphere, state and commercial organizations that deal with personal registration and data gathering thus many technical, legal and ethical questions arise.
The goal of the conference. Exchange of experience in solving the problems of applying informational technologies to the health care industry, finding common methods of system development.

Participants:
- State and municipal government officials.
- Health care and social sphere specialists.
- Soft- and hardware manufacturers such as IBM, Intel, Hewlett-Packard, ORACLE, Microsoft, Nortel,  etc.
- Experts and consultants working with development and application of informational technologies to the health care and social programs for citizens.
The program includes:
- Reports of government officials on perspectives and problems of creating informational systems in medicine on federal and regional levels
- Reports of home and foreign developers of informational systems and basic informational technologies.
- Presentation of results of the “Social card for Sverdlovsk region citizens” project
- Addresses of experts in legal and technical protection of personal data.
